(Getting to ko nw the Grape)
The most common tasting is our "Wines of the World" tasting because it links geography to grape variety; California Cabernet Sauvignon, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Argentine Malbec and German Riesling. This option displays a region's most sought after grape variety due to the grapes ability to flourish in that particular climate. Your guests will stay up-to-date on which wines are being produced and gaining popularity in various areas of the world. |

(Getting to know the Land)
Perfect for those interested in focusing on one specific wine country. There are many different wines produced within the same country. France is a perfect example because it has many different wine regions: The Loire valley flourishes with white grapes varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, and Muscat while Bordeaux flourishes with thick skinned red grapes like Cabernet Savignon and Merlot. Meanwhile, Burgandy produces both red and white varietals, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which are two grapes that strive in cooler climates. You can choose which country you are most interested in to learn about. |

(Getting to know the Climate)
Sunlight, temperature, water, wind, and soil each affect a vineyards grape harvest producing wines of complexity and balance. however, the climate factors may affect the vineyard next door very differently, producing flabby, uninteresting wine. It is amazing how two vineyards within the same appellation can produce two wines that taste very much unalike. The location of a specific vineyard ultimately deciphers a wine's character and style due to the complex factors of the climate in the specific area. |
