Calling all Sex and the City fans! Drop by River St Friday May 28th for a "Mo' Sex and the City" tasting and movie premiere ticket give away. Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha, and Miranda-esque gals will be helping us pour and give away tickets to the new movie!
For the upcoming holiday weekend, we'll be starting wine tasting early this week, with tasting on Thurs May 27th, and Fri May 28th.

De Bortoli Wines is a third generation family wine company established by Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli in 1928. The couple emigrated to Australia from Northern Italy.

 Corvidae Rook 2007 $15.99 - Blends are so hot right now, and we just keep finding more crowd pleasers (like our JK "La Riata" in April, and the Midnite Cellars blend)!
Corvidae Wine is a new label from the Owen Roe Winery of Oregon and Washington. Owen Roe wines are highly sought-after, using grapes from Oregon (with Pinot Noir as the flagship) and Washington (the high-end Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot).
This is a rocking blend of 45% Merlot, 40% Syrah, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. There's nothing shy about this wine! On the nose are rich black cherry, mocha, and a whiff of Syrah smoke, followed by ripe fruit flavors of plums and cassis, with chewy tannins. Bring to the next barbecue for a sure-fire recommendation!
 Sacha Lichine "La Poule Blanche" 2008 $11.99- For those of you whose French is a little rusty, the translation is "chicken white wine".
This aromatic and delicious white blend has tremendous value because its got excellent pedigree. Sacha Lichine, the man behind it, is the son of Alexis Lichine, one of the legends of the French wine business.
Its a refreshing blend of Chardonnay (45%), Sauvignon Blanc (29% and Viognier (26%). A fruity nose of peach, grapefruit, bananas and mango with well balanced combination of New World fruit forwardness and French minerality with a delicately wooded finish.
