Ken Forrester's Petit Chenin Blanc 2008 90pts WS "Best Value" $9.99 - Peach and apricot aromas fill the glass and the wine provides a nice rounded mouth feel with peach and citrus flavors followed by a snappy finish . Perfect with white meat dishes, salads, or sushi.
Chapelle St.Arnoux Vacqueryas 2007 RP 91-93pts $14.99 - 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 5% Mouvedre. A fantastic Cote du Rhone - highly rated, bargain-priced, old vine (vieilles vignes) wine. The wine is very bright, has elegant dusty cherry and vanilla aromas, and delivers ripe cherry and licorice flavors with a full body and spicy finish. Pair with barbeque steak tips, spare ribs, or spicy dishes. |
