D&L Liquors Coastal Wine Trail Tour

Join D&L Liquors for a fun filled day as we explore the Coastal Wine Trail of Southeastern New England. Enjoy what this beautiful stretch of land has to offer with its bountiful farmlands that wind around inlets of the Atlantic Ocean. This AVA (American Viticultural Area) is one of New England's best touring destinations and its right in our backyard! Come with us while we tour, taste, and enjoy fine wine and much more.
Tickets are $79/pp and include round trip transportation on a luxury tour bus (includes a bathroom and TV screens), on-board refreshments and movies, private tours and tastings at each winery, and a 1/2 hour jazz performance at Greenvale Vineyards.

Itinerary 
The tour will depart from the Riverside Bus Terminal in Newton at 9:30a.m sharp. Our first stop is Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery (11:00-1:00) where we will have a private tour and tasting. After the tasting we will have a picnic lunch on the grounds overlooking the Westport River and the landscape of the vineyards. (Light refreshments will be served throughout the day however we suggest packing a lunch.) We then head to Little Compton, RI to visit Sakonnet Vineyard (1:30-2:30) where we will taste through their award winning portfolio. Our last stop is Greenvale Vineyards (3:00-4:00) where we will enjoy a casual Jazz Tasting. We will be arriving back to Riverside at approximately 6:00p.m.

Travel Tip  We suggest packing a picnic lunch or light snacks and refreshments as we have a BIG day of wine touring and enjoyment planned for you! The properties we visit have beautiful scenery, and would be picture-perfect for your picnic lunch or snack. Dress is casual, and so is the enjoyment level - enjoy and participate in the tours and tastings, or simply leisurely stroll the grounds and relax at each of these New England coastal wineries. |
