New Wines at D&L
 Camille Cayran's Secret de Campane'08 - $8.99, The #1 Plonkapoolaza in '09 is stacked and available! This is an easy sipper, light on the wallet, and great for those weeknight afterwork get togethers (based on personal experience). A Rhone style red, its a blend of Grenache, old-vine Carignane, and Cinsault. Fresh raspberry aromas are complimented by ripe fruit flavors, spice, and licorice.  Weingut Schwarzbock Gruner Veltliner '08 $15.99 - In our tasting we all agreed - bring this white in! The winery is nestled against the outskirts of Vienna and is called a 'landwein' due to the valley floor growing area along the Danube. Gruner's are either little known, or just mis-understood. The wine displays crisp citrus notes and apricot aromas. Flavors of ripe apple, citrus fruits, and a peppery spiciness wrapped in a softly rounded wine. The second best part of the wine is its sold in 1,000L size. Sip all afternoon and enjoy!  Messmer Riesling Kabinett Feinherb Muschelkalk Pfalz '08 $21.99 - Only in Germany can a wine have TWO proprietary names, and in this case Feinherb is used to denote a wine that is dry-ish in style, and Muschelkalk, which means "fossil bearing limestone" (in reference to the soil). Long names aside, this is an absolutely smokin' Riesling. Bright aromas of orange blossoms and apricot followed by keylime, apricot, minerality, and a hint of petrol flavors. This Riesling is really loaded on flavors and structure, and limited in supply, so this is a great value on a beautiful Riesling.
 Hey Mambo Red'08 $13.99 - a fun, well priced Napa blend from the folks at Don Sebastiani & Sons (Moobuzz wines - "The Other Guys"). Not too much left out in Mambo - Syrah, Barbera, Zin, Petite Verdot, Malbec, Grenache, and Cab Franc. One of our customers asked for it, shared it with us, and we agreed - this is a great everyday red! Lets bring it in - customers won't be disappointed!
